I'm sure boxmel will see nothing wrong with this because it's Ronald Simms conducting this and he wouldn't never allow this to happen, or maybe boxmel will say that's not really him in the video.......this is a example of what happened that tragic day, the boxer with gold headgear has TBI now!!!!! I wonder if this session had any effect on this boxers current condition

Omg! The kid in yellow headgear was not fighting back and if I was coaching I would have stopped that within first minute

this is the USA Assistant Olympic Coach doing this...and USA Staff aint doing nothing about keeping him on staff. Simms suppose to hold a Boxing Camp soon.....Very SAD!!!!

I was told that Simms told everyone in the boxing arena that his assistant coach conducted this sparring session....well, looks like Simms on the video to me........cought telling a lie. I was told that another Marine died 3 days later from this sparring session

I thought the kid looked liked he had run a marathon n was just too tired to fight back. Boxing is already a brutal sport but that sparring session was sadistic. What happend to the kid?

Makes me for sure think about ever allowing my kid to go to any boxing camps. If I cant be there to watch silently every move then my kid will never go to one of those camps. That was very sad to see a kid get beaten like that. What camp was that in the sparring video?

That day he went to emergency room, was treated for dehydration and a concussion. He was later cleared and collapsed 11 months later after a fight and now has TBI!!!!! Another boxer from that session died 3 days later

Simms is still a coach for the USA Team, I wonder when joe zanders going to stop defending simms. Boxing already has a bad rap.

What did the other kid died from? That kid in yellow headgear must have taken like 100 or more unanswered punches . Actually the kid got hit with like 45 unanswered punches

Boxmel trust and believe it has been brought to their attention but of course they are like you they are turning the cheek to it. What is your thought on what you seen on those video clips? Should this guy be coaching the USA Team? Can you answer that aren't you a certified official?

USA Boxing has video.....Anthony Barkowski has it and viewed it.........USOC has it as well the story is out but obviously everyone is more concerned about Ron Simms than the situation at hand. There is obviously somethings he has done wrong in this video so he can use some refresher courses on coaching and probably be recertified before coaching. Instead he has been promoted to a prestigious coaching position that should be reserved for the best coaches. We all have flaws and this was a tragic event that parents, coaches, president, boxers should be aware of so this doesn't happen again......for crying out loud a boxer lost his life over some horrible training event that could have been prevented in so many ways......

I am really sorry that USAB has, according to you, elected to disregard your concerns. Even if I were to voice an opinion, how would it make a difference? I will not be a part of bashing that leads to nothing more than ongoing bashing. Unless you have news from USAB regarding their view on the videos and the situation in general, may I please ask that you refrain from continuing the diaglogue started here.

Are you an Official?? because you seem to be protecting USA Boxing staff. why do you think the media, radio stations, youtube...ect came about? to bring out good and bad info that people try to cover-up. I will never allow my kid to go to any type of camp or sparring that I cn not visualize. This video made men realize just who dangerous the Amatuer game can be. My heart goes out to the families

Yes, I know all about the incident at Camp Lejeune. However, I believe it is up to USAB or the Marine Corps to take action in this matter. I just don't know what can be accomplished by continual bashing on this thread. No, I am not Ron Simms. Yes, I am an official and yes, I know Ron Simms. And what does that have to do with anything?

And spreading the word is helping how? Have you arranged it so that Simms no longer coaching? Will your boxers be coached by him? How has Simms impacted you or your athletes? Have you voiced your opinion to USA Boxing or the USOC? What have YOU done to fix the situation?
