Welcome to boxrec hide remember me. Good to hear about Audley going for a title, I would expect Southern Area as I remember him talking about it before christmas telling the BBC that just after he announced the Nix fight. But I would be pleasently suprised if he announced British and Commonwealth, however that is pretty much out of the question because Sprott aint had time to do anything. Cheers anyways hide where did u hear this.

Southern Area? All those fights against good stepping stne calibre fighters and respected journeymen, and he wants the SOUTHERN AREA??
At the very least, Audley needs to plough straight into a British title shot. AT THE VERY LEAST. He is BEYOND READY for this standard. he will destroy Sprott. but now what? audley blows out a colin kenna type in 1 and wins a pointless title that is recognised as the lowest of the low? then what? DEFENDS IT?
WHATS THE POINT???

Riddick, you don't seem to understand....
Audley will have to make a deal with allegedly in order to get near Sprott, Sprott is signed to sports network, and I think it will be very difficult for him to get a title shot as it stands. Audley wants to stay with the BBC, allegedly would like to sign him to fight on sky, and it appears that never the twain shall meet.

IMO Audley is the best HW in the Country.
I'd like to see him fight Williams or Sprott, but I dont think Warren will take the fight unless he has options on Audley.
IMO Audley would knock Hides head off.
It would be nice to see Audley win the British title and I feel he will be a HW who we can back against the US HW prospects with some confidence.
What about Audley v Wayne Llewellyn for the Southern Area Title?

Sorry Riddick that wasn't meant to be patronising.
Does anyone know what Audley's British ranking is with the BBBofC at the moment? Presumably if he wins the vacant southern area title, and goes on to become mandatory contender (should he be bothered about such a thing, personally I don't see the point), then there is no way that he could be prevented for fighting for the title, as it would go to purse bids.

It's a bit confusing, at first I thought that only one of those 3 fights was part of the deal, but last I heard, I seem to recall him saying that he had finished his contract with ESPN, and may or may not be resigning with them.....possibly they changed their minds due to Audley's performances?
I'm a bit confused myself. Audley did indicate recently that although he is back in the UK, he will be campaigning in the states again....anyone got any further info.
Audley's website is one of the better ones out there btw

Audley informed us (Im on his website forum as well) that he has come back to take care of some domestic competition and that he will go back to the USA to wrap up the ESPN deal when the Olympics and Euro cup is on. Good idea if you ask me it means he can finish off the ESPN deal with some top names. Hope that answered your question james (top name by the way.)

He won't. That's why I think it will be him.jameswilson wrote:He lost to Sprott, how the hell does he think he can beat the A-Force
I believe since being banged out by Sprott, Kenna's put together a win or two to get himself back in the frame, and who else is out there for Audley! Everyone else is tied to Sports Network.
