Good performances from the USA womens team in these duals which finished yesterday.
At Flyweight Russias European Champion Elena Saveleva won her three bouts but Tyreisha Douglas defeated both World number six Karolina Michalczuk and Mexican Sulem Urbina.Christina Cruz and Cynthia Moreno also beat the Mexican whilst Poula Estrada defeated German Azize Nimani.
At Lightweight Russias World Number two Sofia Ochigava won her four bouts but Michaela Mayer pushed her all the way.Mayer though defeated Polands Karolina Graczyk and Sandra Kruk.Nyeetah Sherman and Tiara Brown both defeated Kruk whilst Lisa Porter lost her three bouts.
At Middleweight Tika Hemingway won her three fights handing World Number one Nadezhda Torlopova a rare defeat.Hemingway also beat both Polish boxers.Alyssa De Fazio also beat Torlopova but lost to the two Poles.Franchon Crews won three fights losing only to Torlopova while Tiffanie Ward beat Polish and Mexican opponents against two losses.
