Rockin Robin v Matty Tew

Post by Grays_Dan »

I may be hanging myself out to dry here but did anyone else who watched the Deakin-Tew fight on friday have it as at least a draw to Robin, if not a win.

I appreciate that Robin has to put people on the canvas in each round to win a fight these days but friday did seem a little bit extra suspect.

I thought it was close but Tew just had the workrate to do it, Deakin scored with a few impressive potshots but didn't sustain any sort of workrate, I maybe would have given him one of the rounds, so think 39-37 maybe a fair score. Tew not impressive though and doesn't look like he has anything in his arsenal to get above that level.

Could be a fight for me down the line no disrespect to anyone but The likes of Johnny Greaves or Kristin laight would be a harder fight for me. We are both managed buy Mickey but after that performance can't see the fight being a test or a step forward. Well done Robin
