I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's read it too ..... this has the potential to be an excellent biography. :box:

It's a good read. I really enjoyed it and I read a lot of boxing bios.

My only criticism is minor and that is that the book binding is a little odd. It has a huge margin and the book is quite narrow and it literally jumped out of my hand half a dozen times while reading it. The font used hurt my eyes because it's so cramped on the page.

If you buy it from amazon you buy direct from the author.

Herol's humour really came through reading the book, and it reads like he wrote the book, unlike some other biographies.

Definitely recommend it.

Is there any mention in this book about why he never secured a shot against Hagler/Hearns etc.

yeah, lots of that sort of stuff. what struck me whilst reading it is that Sibbo really didn't want the fight, but spent a lot of time talking about it.
