1) No tournament took place in Pretoria on this date. The Stevens/Bradley contest occured on 30 January 1946 in Pretoria.
2) No tournament took place in Durban on this date. The de Villiers/Rossouw contest occured on this date viz 30 May 1946 in Johannesburg.
3) The Johannesburg tournament on tnis date was held at the Whippets Rink and not Wembley Stadium. It is also confirmed that Kukard beat Britt twice on this bill - once w pts 6 and then w ko 2.
