plus why is his loss to savarese listed as a 'KO'. ref just called off the fight without counting, doesn't that make it a TKO?
also, his fights with dion simpson and jesse ferguson (both 1985) were part of the ESPN Eastern Young Heavyweight tournement.
jesses following fight, a 10 rd kayo of tony anthony (the winner of the ESPN Western Young HW tourney), was the ESPN final.

Was the fighter down? For many organizations, if the fighter is knocked down and the referee waves it off without counting or stops mid-count and waves it off, then it is ruled as a KO (rather than TKO).overhand_right wrote:
