Chistora. The guy who turned up out of shape, for the biggest fight of his career, live on terrestrial TV. And lost against the overhyped bum known as Tyson Fury. Now all of a sudden he will give his full effort.

I don't think Chisora is deserving at all, i never said he was deserving at all !!

I made no comparison with Haye on who deserves a title shot. My observation comes from his fight with Helenius ? Did you see that one ? The one where Chisora was in shape ? The one where he gave it his all for 12 rounds ? The one most people feel he was robbed of the decision ? That is the where i base my opinion on what Chisora will give !! Chisora is a complex guy and he was out of shape for the Fury fight because he was still sulking over Wladimir pulling out and he took Tyson too lightly, thinking he only had to turn up. Its true, Chisora did let himself down in the Fury fight.
I find it hard to decide if he was psyched out by Tyson turning the tables on him - and bullying the bully. Or if he just couldn't get up for the training for the fight.

But Chisora was still in there swinging. And taking his lumps.
Where as Haye ... One or two lunges a round. And a bad little toe.

The problem for Haye wasn't that he lost or lost by a decsion, the problem was that for around two years he had chased Wladimir up and down escalaters, made t-shirts with depacitated heads on them and promised to knock Wladimir out. When it came to it, he refused to exchange punches with the big man and so gave up his only chance of beating Klitschko. Then he made excuses as to why he lost the fight which didn't do him any favours, hence the opinions you get on haye.

Haye might have underwhelmed, and perhaps underperformed relative to what he's capable of, Vs Vladimir. But i'd still like to see him fight Vitali. We might get a similar result, but there'd still be a great buzz and sense of intrigue around the occasion. And who knows, he may even end up shocking a few people . . .

I feel the same as everyone else in that Haye let us (British fans) down. He talked the fight up so much that a hell of a lot of people were thinking he would knock Wlad out. I certainly did. Then he puts in just about the worst performance of his career and blames an injury that most boxers would be ashamed to admit. Imagine Froch using that excuse? What a joke. He conned us, his loyal fans.

If he does get the Vitali fight, as much as I wouldn't want to pay for it, if it's PPV and in HD then I would instead of watching a poor quality stream, just to watch Haye get battered once and for all. That is the difference now, I don't want Haye to win, I want to see him get KTFO.

I don't think it's fair to use that as a yard stick. Haye showed his whole career he was prepared to take on guys head on, look at what he did to Ruiz, who although dull was no mug. Everybody thinks they are going to charge in the ring against a klitscko and take their head off, the plan quickly changes once they take a punch. It won't happen but if haye were to fight helenius I would strongly fancy him to win inside 6. Chisora will be lively for the first couple (as was haye) and then retreat into his shell, you won't get a Briggs scenario because Chisora isn't that stupid, I reckon he will quit on his stall between 6 and 9.

I think Haye will give it a go myself.

I have said in another thread that Chisora will give it his all for the first two or three rounds and by the 5th or the 6th it will be all over in favour of Vitali. I think Haye had a gutso up and at em style when he was a cruiserweight because he carried the punching power and was a talented fighter. At heavyweight, he carried the punching power, but fought stiffs untill he faced Wladimir. Ruiz was well shot, Harrison was, well shite, Barrett is a journeyman and Valuev is just a big lumbering hulk that was like an elephant trying to run after a leopard.

The main point and criticism of Haye where two things. Firstly, for two years he shouted after the brothers, ran up escalaters, made up t-shirts with decapitated heads, called them both dull and lacking technique, said they were fighting bums and promised to knock either one out. Now all of the above can be dissmissed as your usual circus act before a fight, but it added weight to the criticism once the fight was over and Wladimir was victorios by a landslide. The second point, that coincides with the first is that Haye refused to put himself on the line against Wladimir.

Everyone knew that Haye could not win a points decision against Wladimir, because it's diffiicult to get around the jab and Wladimir will dominate you from the outside. Haye's only chance was to fight on the inside, abeit with guille and a degree of intelligence, not simply swinging around like in a pub brawl. When Haye took the fight to Wladimir, he was uncomfortable and looked slightly agitated, but this only happenned about three times in the whole fight. Now, haye blamed his toe, but the debate is around a lot of people thinking he didn't want to take the risks that come with opening your guard up to a big guy, force the isssue and in turn try to land telling or conclusive power shots.

I think it is those two points combined that make people critical of Haye.

I think we all think that Chisora's title shot is slightly underserving, but i think we will see the same Chisora that fought Helenius untill Chisora feels Vitali's power and technical supremacy and it will end around the 5th or 6th round.

Sky have made it abudantly clear they are not interested in boxing PPV shows.
As for Allegedly Channel who knows ?
Think we should see whether the fight gets made first.
Personally I doubt it very much.
