What the whole AUDLEY- WARREN SLANGING MATCH WAS ABOUT!
Basically, You are gonna be shocked soon by a MAJOR ANNOUCEMENT!
The BBC is gonna launch their Digital Channel soon that is devoted solely to SPORT! They intend to show much more Live Boxing as part of their stategy for this channel, although the big fights will still be shown on terresrial BBC. Sky are actually gonna pull out of boxing COMPLETELY by the end of the year!
allegedly will jump ship from SKY and will be joining the BBC once his contract with SKY runs out!
Therefore boxer's like RICKY HATTON and JOE CALZAGHE will soon be fighting on the BBC plus WARREN will Co-promote Audley!
Obviously I can't name my source due to protecting his Job with sky but he was 100% certain that sky just don't think it makes financial sense to cover boxing as it hasn't been getting the Viewing figure's they were expecting.
Plus, they are unhappy with missing out on people like Audley, Haye and Froch and feel their contract with Warren isN'T worth renewing due to a lack of REAL ratings winner's!

Sky are definately gonna be cutting back on boxing from 2005, this I know for sure!
and the BBC are gonna be INCREASING boxing when their Digital sports channel is up and running.
Plus MOTD is seen as a perfect launch pad to try more live boxing!
