Good fight between Ali and Louis there. Ali did well to defend his title.
:box:

Now BoxBuzz I thought we had an understanding that Joe would win via knockout in Round One.
As this has not happened, I must insist that you return our bribe of:
10,000 Sim guineas
5 Ukrainian slave girls
a third generation Pontiac Firebird (affectionately known as KITT)
and a club-footed lumberjack called "Only Bob"

Thanks in advance.

That 145-140 scorecard for Corbett was rank. I try to respect the judges, but it's hard when they produce rubbish like that. Still FP got the win, and he's still on his way to becoming a simlegend.

Nonsense....The Gentleman had the upper hand and the fight was apparently a contribution to the "affirmitve action" program" Corbett would likely needed to have knock Floyd out several times to win that fight. Perhaps Patterson was a "union" fighter....and Corbett considered a "scab"? Or late with his dues check?

I tell ya.....I step into the commishes shoes for one day....and both my fighters get thrashed by the judges.

I already rue the day I "volunteered" to help.
