Re: Apologies for the language
Sky is very prudish and got more so after the Keys and Gray incident. Seems ridiculous that you can hear all sorts of language and see all sorts of things on Sky Atlantic, with only a warning before the show begins, but have to put up with this every boxing night. How about a similar disclaimer before boxing shows? 'The following show contains violence and bad language.' And then let adults be adults and stop trying to protect us, we are your customers not your children Sky.TheCobra wrote:Wish that Nick Halling bloke would stfu saying this. F**k all y'all.
Re: Apologies for the language
Well at least we haven't heard the "emotions are running high in the corner" line yet.
Re: Apologies for the language
It is rather funny, apologising over a bit of naughty words at an event where blokes are trying to take each others head off.
Re: Apologies for the language
I'm far more offended by the constant adverts in between rounds, can they apologise for that instead?

I don't like to hear foul language.
Cornermen should be more imaginative with their insults.
Nincompoop is a fine curse.
"the nincompoop is wide open for the counter upper cut. Go out there and finish this stinky rat ! "

Re: Apologies for the language
What would be funny is if he said "sorry for the use of the words pudendum, prick and fornicate there, hopefully you're not easily offended by these words but if you are please press mute because Brendan Ingle is about to say twat, shit and bollacks".
At which point studio guest Naseem Hamed would shout, "but mostly bollacks".
