Post by Foggy »

Just wondered if there are any rules out there stipulating that no 15 round boxing matches can ocur any more, or if its up to the discretion of the governing bodies & commisions?

The Welsh Mountain Fighters have longer fights. Not licensed though.

I'm pretty sure a 15 rounder could happen but probably would depend on the country. Japan springs to mind.

Why's that, then? Are you just tucking into a plate of sushi, or something?

More likely abit of home cooked Isaan food. :D

I think they were the ones that had Tommy Morrison's comeback fight, after the HIV stuff even though many places had banned him at the time. I'm sure they'd do a 15 rounder. In truth there isn't a global boxing regulations, so any country could do a 15 rounder and are perfectly within their rights.

Are "15 rounders" boxings equivalent of "3 holers"?
