Only seen him the once in action vs Chris Barnett which was supposed to be a British title eliminator. I can't remember the specific questions that you asked (i.e. southpaw or authordox) I'm sure others who have seen him more frequently can help.

My vague memories of that war showed that Hibbert can certainly take a good shot and is as tough as old boots with a good engine. He's certainly isn't hard to hit though. My overall impression is that he's a solid lightweight worthy of a place in the top ten - but I didn't think he would have been successful if his challenge would have happend against then champ Vanzie.

Hunt vs Hibbert would be a tough match to call.

He's a good fighter. Stepped at three day's notice to challenge David Burke for the Commonwealth lightweight title and went 10 rounds in Liverpool (floored twice). Stopping fellow Mancunian Chris Barnett more recently was another good performance. Fought Anthony Maynard twice last year (a draw and a win). Looked unlucky only to get a draw with the man first time, but body shots did a good job on Maynard second time and he won a clear verdict. Lost to Roy Rutherford in the 1995 English ABA semi's, and likewise has lost only to good men as a pro.
I must admit. I've never seen him fight. If you want to have a chat with Claude Abrams about him, ring him on 0207 173 2433.
