Who would have beaten Sam Langford out of the lightheavies and Kid Norfolk in the super middles of the following years.
A peak Langford would have an easy time against any at this weight and up to the old cruiser weight limit.
Bob Foster was fantastic but would not have lived with Langford, and as for Spinks, Langford would of found him and downed him.
As for Norfolk, none would last at twelve stone with this 5`8" terror.
Roy Jones would find an excuse rather than fight any of these.
Sam Langford and Kid Norfolk
William Ward was like most fighters who came through the `battle royal` a rough, tough and nasty fighter who was avoided by the leading white fighters with good reason..except the all time Great Harry Greb who was given a torrid time each time they fought.kovit wrote:What is Kid Norfolk's fighting style and how good was he?
He was one of the all time great black fighters of the 1920`s who does not seem to get mentioned enough.
