I never knew my Dad's dad, but I can remember him talking about his dad a few times. His dad divorced my grandmother way back when and in those days it wasn't as acceptable as today. So my Dad lived with him for a time and was telling me about him. He would mention that he was a gambler and would leave him alone while he went out to make money. He mentioned that he used to box in the Navy and used to be a handful. So when I was looking up his name I was surprised to actually see anything about him. So there it is my grandfather who I never knew is listed here, Banty Peters and I see that he had one fight that he lost! Thats my dads dad, from Bayonne and in 1920 yet!
