A good show on friday evening at Peterboro promoted by Robert Waterman, a beautiful venue very worthy of a World Title fight being staged there all Robert has to do now is to find the fighter.
It was good to see some fair verdicts given out as it should be especially from Reading Ref Jeff Hinds in the Paddy Patterson/J J Bird contest, in a close fought contest he could have sat on the fence and given it to the local boy but didnt instead lifting up Patterson's hand at the end of a close contest, much to Patterson's delight, well done Jeff.

I quite agree, he is a very fair Referee who has served the sport well for over 20 years now. I hope he does get a chance to referee at the highest level soon.

Thats a nice thing to say about Jeff Hinds, yes Jeff has been on the Boxing scene for quite sometime now and always does his best.
I have known Jeff personally for as long as he has been in boxing and the man is a credit to the BBBofC of which he serves with dignity and honesty, one can do no more than that

When Patterson got in the ring i said to him that hed get a fair verdict if he done the job and this was the case.Geoff is like howard Foster in that if you win you win simple as.
Good that a fair ref can spur a fighter on knowing heel get a fair crack of the whip.
