George vs Rodriguez starting now, should be a good undercard fight before main event.

George well beaten but he looks a handful and i doubt Rodriguez will go far. Decent fight.

Ok Martinez vs Macklin starting now, i got Martinez winning by around the 6th rd but i think it'll be an exciting fight whilst it lasts.

Creditable performance by Macklin but it was a composed and measured performance by Maravilla. He's a tricky customer and he fought a sensible fight, not wasting any energy and finishing very strongly.
Probably the right decision to pull Matthew out but it would have been nice to see him make it to the final bell for his efforts. But there was no argument from him, he knew he's was taking a bit of a pasting and I don't think he had much left.
Good effort though and he should be proud of himself but Martinez always seemed to have the extra gear.

There was no way he would have made the final bell, he seemed dazed and confused walking back to his corner and his face was turning into a bloody mess so would have just been there for Martinez to tee off at will and KO Macklin like Moore did.milpool wrote:Creditable performance by Macklin but it was a composed and measured performance by Maravilla. Still as you said Macklin did better then expected although probably more by being a bit negative and forcing Sergio to take the role of agressor rather then counter puncher. Would like to see Macklin mix it up with Andy Lee, Martin Murray or even take on Hope for the European title next.
