Vincent has to get past Harry Dhami in an eliminator first. Jimmy, for some reason, believed he was going to get the shot at Barnes in April, but he's never been that lucky. Warren is going to secure a Lonsdale Belt outright for Barnes, then allow Vincent and Neil Sinclair to ruin each other for the vacant title...
Barnes "beat" Vincent - if he was good enough to "beat" him then, surely he's ready now.
I know he's young, but to be honest his first defence wasn't against the strongest of opposition - boardrline top ten. This is a downward step from this.

Its making a mockery of the lonsdale belt.
This fight would be accceptable as a non title marking time bout, but it represents a cheap way of heading towards securing a Lonsdale belt outright - it should not be allowed for the title.
When Jimmy accepted that step aside money he basically negated any chance he had of a timely rematch with Barnes. FW doesn't need a repeat of the palpatations Vincent gave him in the first fight..
is this for 3/4 . Bugger got ringside seats and wanted to see Barnes in a decent scrap he can be very exciting if not world class, tho the fight against vincent was a total travesty of justice on a par with de la hoya mosely.
both results sucked majorly.
