with your permission i`m looking for boxing records from Lancashire, England circa 1920..such as was there any registration process for potential boxers...this is for family records only..any and all help appreciated

Miles Templeton is your man. He has the most extensive list of pre-war boxing records around (most of which are not on Boxrec).

HI and thanks wake up call..i`ve been in contact with Miles(helpful)..and i have a lot of my grand dads boxing matches venues and stats...but i know nothing of the man...would he have had to sign papers and contracts..etc..that may provide his age and place of birth..with luck perhaps his Dads name...etc..wake up...please feel free to email/pm..me..with any advice

If you have his name and want to find out his date and place of birth, fathers name etc, there are easier ways than looking for boxing records.
