At least Willaims is honest enough to admit he made mistakes in the Sprott fight and didn't deserve the decision.

He may want a 4th fight with Sprott but not many other people would want to go through that again.

Top class interview, you really asked all the right questions. Nice to see Danny admits his mistakes and hasn't blamed his coach (this time). I don't know what to think of his relaxed excuse, if that was the first time he felt relaxed in a boxing ring at anytime in his career then I could buy it, but surely he's had amateur contest or sparring where he has been 100% relaxed.

He might not make it any futher, but he still deserves credit as a bloke - very ood of him to say Michael deserves the belt.

Williams is the Michael Grant of British boxing, he has all the tools, but he doesn't have a fighter's mentality.

I was expecting the interview to be a tad awkward. Adam Booth warned me that Williams isn't the best of talkers, but he was great, very easy to talk to. He seems alot more confident, i've seen him interviewed on TV before, and when he was telling me about the confidence he had during the Sprott fight, i believed him. If he can channel that confidence like he said, he can definately return to the top of the domestic scene, and perhaps get another european title shot (his fight with Hide is for the 'EU title').

I've sort of lost a bit of faith in Danny, he seems to have all the physical tools to be a force at world level, but as mentioned many times before seems to lack the mental aptitude.

He always seems like a nice guy in TV appearences and it's good that he admits his faults more than many fighters, but recognising your faults is worthless if you cant/wont correct them.

I wish him all the best though and would still like to see him to fight Hide or Harrison, but I shall not hold my breath.
