An apology and a promise:

Dear gents,

It is with a resigned sigh that I inform you that due to my financial situation I have had to make some budgetary cutbacks in my household. This is due to me working less hours and making less money than what I used to. As a result of this I have had to get my Internet disconnected and hence explains my infrequent visits to this hollowed place.

So, I apologise for the lengthy delay that you have experienced in waiting for me to get things sorted for Week 9. As of the moment, the week 8 results have been collated, the rankings have been updated and the Week 9 mathups are ready and raring to go.

However, I do make this promise to each of you, although my visits will probably only be once-per-week, when I am online I will make this comittment to keep the Sim administration up to date whenever I am online (namely, organising the Prizefighters and doing out the previous weeks results thread, updating the points in the rankings and creating the new weeks matchups).
I will keep doing it, that is no problem.

However the only thing I won't be able to do it keep updating te matchups as I used to (because I won't be on as much)

But I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your concern, I am in good health and I will keep this place going.

As Geto and others have said, it's getting tough for us all. Hopefully you'll be back upto full 'strength' soon enough

Thanks for all the time and effort both you and Buzz are putting into this. We can all help in the running of The SIM, even if it's putting up 'Match Up' threads etc.
