Just seen that on FW channel. Pretty annoyed that wasn't announced earlier as I've had quite a big chunk on Haye by stoppage. Also am going. Why wasn't that announced before?!

Annoying, got good odds for Haye finishing him late. Might go for Haye on points now. Also a massive disadvantage for Chisora.

I thought with it being for the WBA and WBO International titles that it would be 12 rounds.

I assume if you backed Haye in rounds 10-12 the bet would be voided.

Thought there were titles (albeit nonsense 'International' ones) on the line? 10 rounds is a bit shabby really, can't say I'm impressed

Cancelling it now, seems to be going through. The bookies will not be happy cos every bet will have to be cancelled cos they will have to rework the odds.

Is this confirmed or only on the schedule? Seen it before and thought it must be a typo as the belts on the line but just had a look through the records and the belts have had 10 rounders before. Seems stupid when both fighters both used to 12.

May be another gimmick and they change it again tomorrow after a big publicity seeking row.

Intercontinental titles etc are all 12 rounds - what the fornicate are they playing at, if they want an organisation to recognise it surely this is madness.

Interesting that supposedly its Haye's request though (in fairness from the start) they are now saying

Why tell people its a 12 round fight then if it was 10 rounds from the start.

Thats the bit that don't make sense, all parties have let the 12 round thing runs its course and now they are saying Haye wanted 10 rounds from the start, there is a guy on another
site saying his mate has spoken to Chisora and he reckons its 12 and dont know what Warren is talking about.

Total mess which makes me wonder if its another publicity stunt to get us all talking again, Chisora will come out raging tomorrow and say Haye is scared of going 12 with him etc
somethng not right for me in this

The more I think about this the more it irritates me. It's classic FW. Surely the number of rounds must have been in the contract (I'm a lawyer and no lawyer worth his salt would leave such an important detail out) and you can't just go changing such important details willy nilly. If it was in the contract that the fight was 10 rounds then the fans should have been told from the outset before tickets went on sale as we are potentially be deprived of 2 further rounds. This added to the undercard losing the chief support fight in Rahman v Povetkin leaves another bitter taste in the mouth.

On top of this I've had 2 bets on Haye by stoppage and by any method which may now also be voided on the grounds of the fight being shorter than the bookies had anticipated! :witzend:

Its bullshit to announce this 3 days before the fight.

Obviously thought it wouldn't be massively popular to announce it from the get go.

On your tickets or a bet? I very much doubt it on the tickets as I doubt the terms and conditions of purchase (I haven't read them) stated that the fight was over 12 rounds and on the tickets themselves the terms and conditions say refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and they have to be no more than 72 hours before the show (which has just about passed now). I don't want a refund, I want to go but am just annoyed at the misrepresentation. As for a bet, you'd have to check the rules as each betting site has a different practice.

Tickets. No terms specific to boxing on the tickets only West Ham rules.

They will also apply to this but there will be more detailed terms and conditions set out somewhere (maybe on the Eventim website).
