wow...Murray vs Saunders
Just been ordered by the board. Big concequences - Murray wanting to get back in to World contention and just missed JCC Jr chance; if he loses it could be over. Saunders - up and coming, wants to be in Murray's position; if he loses it could be a massive roadblock.
Also Joe Murray vs Stephen Smith is a great fight. Will see how good Joe actually is and if Smith is really world level! Can't wait!

The only possible way Murray v Saunders will happen is if Hatton ends up working with the Worthy One promotionally.
I can't see it and more likely is Murray fighting away from home at World level, and vacating.

He'll have to work with him at some point and point that stuff behind him... he may end up on BN anywaystwenty six wrote:The only possible way Murray v Saunders will happen is if Hatton ends up working with the Worthy One promotionally.

Would've been a great fight. Don't know who I would've fancied. Murray has experience but Saunders has more power/talent!

Agree with you about dropping the title Smoggy - and hope you're right about Barker.
Again I just wonder if the fight is dependent upon where Hatton Promotions end up broadcasting wise.

I saw a twitter thing other day between Hearn and Poxon and it looked like they set up a call to negotiate a few things and Murray was mentioned. Probably Vassell aswell

I dont think it would go that far but it makes sense that there looking at contingency plans if no tv materialises. Vassell aint fought in ages and the 1st Purdy fighter was a cracker so not surprised about that. Also Hearn pays way over the odds for certain fights.

First post - long time reader
Really hope they can get this fight on - Billy Joe Saunder being a very good awkward to hit, clever southpaw and Martin Murray a big strong middleweight - Would be a great domestic scrap !

Re: wow...Murray vs Saunders
None of the fights will happen. Saunders said he wants the fight and to be honest Murray probs wants it aswell but promoters will somehow mange to block it.
Smith v Murray. I will be very suprised if this goes ahead
