A great night for british boxing
I don't know about everyone else but I thought it was a great night for british boxing. Everyone I know who 'NEVER' watch boxing watched the fight. All pubs in East London were packed out. Everyone was mentioning it on Facebook and Twitter. Saturday night - boxing became a major sport again, no matter what the circumstances, the general public don't seem to care about that (LBF, BBBoC etc). Surely that's what we want - britsh boxing on a world stage?

Maybe I'm the only one but I want BOXING to be on the world stage, not just BRITISH BOXING. I also want fans to become "repeat" watchers not just watching for one fight. My missus recently got forced to watch all the action on July 7th (Carson Jones v Brook, Proksa v Hope, Fury v Maddalone, Eubank Jr v Carruthers, Klitschko v Thompson II and she stayed up for Donaire v Mathebula)...a week later she was staying up for Khan v Garcia due to the fact she loved the Brook/Jones fight.
Sadly things like the Haye/Chisora bout were more of a one off event than something that will grab fans and keep them IMO (I won't get into my views on allegedly but they perpetuate the feeling that the sport is shut off from new fans coming and joining us hardcore buggers).
