Burns/Mitchell training camp !

Post by jessi »

Just wondered if anyone knew anymore about how's it going ?
Are they both staying at home to train or getting away ? Or how it's going so far. . . .

there was a thing on buncey's show and kevin was saying that he's still at the tko and will stay there for his training camp and burns said he's going to vagas for a couple of weeks just to change his routine but will end up back at his normal gym to finish his training

I think it will take more than one fight to split these two if Kevin is in the right place mentally
he could prove Rickys toughest test. But you cant imagine Ricky being anything but better than ever at home in Glasgow .Great fight cant wait . :TU:

No excuses....that has to be the same in return though eh? ;;-)

Heard nothing but excuses since Katsidis had Mitchell all over the place.

Yep I agree I've never heard excuses from yourself or Ricky, just don't want this to be the first, if Mitchell looses and makes excuses that's up to him, but I won't listen either way, I will enjoy the fight either way and may the best man win and then shut up that Bronner !

Totally agree, I give fighters I really like one chance for excuses, Mitchell has used his with me already, like I just said to Billy if Mitchell makes an excuse ( if he looses of course ) that's up to him, but I won't take any notice what so ever !
I believe Mitchell shocks alot of people in this fight, may the best man win :TU:

It wouldn't be a shock if Mitchell won. It would be an upset.

A shock would be if either beat Broner! Sorry to say, neither comes close to doing that. Burns would see the final bell against Broner but Mitchell would be seeing stars.

Am with Burns all the way too. IMO there was no difference between the Katsidis who destroyed Mitchell to the one Burns well beat. Really glad this is finally happening. I hope Mitchelll screws the nut for this one, so Ricky gets full credit. Kevin's excuses and boasting so far have been pathetic.

Can't believe its over five years since I saw Ricky soundly beaten over the distance by Carl Johanneson at Leeds Town Hall.
Didn't expect him to put together the career he has since then and equally thought it would be Carl pushing on.
That's boxing eh !
Burns to win on points.

It won't be a shock or an upset to me, but the general boxing public see burns winning !
Ok maybe shock is too strong a word but it depends on how much chance you give each fighter, for example if Mitchell wins Billy Nelson will be shocked ! If Mitchell wins with in 3 rounds I think it's fair to say that the boxing public will be shocked ! But if Mitchell wins on points in a close fight it's just an upset to anyone who fancied burns ! If burns wins in any shape or form people will say that that didn't supprise them, so in general it's somewhere between a shock and an upset if Mitchell walks away champion !
But not for me :box:

Yes Billy, as usual you are repeating yourself. I do wonder about your mental state to be honest :o . If Mitchell happened to win this fight I really wonder how your going to cope. Seriously, I think you'll need to end up getting some help
