There doesn't seem to be much said about Ted Lowrys first fight with Marciano, as according to most observers he clearly beat Marciano and had him in trouble early in the fight.
Does anyone know anymore info about their first fight?

Interesting that nearly all of his career losses were by decision - besides saying that he had a good chin and defensive skills, I wonder how many of those were gifts to the hometown boy or white opponent?
