Post by matko »

This is on sat who wins yes it's in wrong forum but not bothered cause I'm mad like that :yay: it should have us all interested as it has makings of a good fight and our domestic fighters may box winner or loser?

It could be an absolutely rip-roaring fight, one im not going to miss for the world.

We know how good Proska is (at his best) and we are told Golovkin is the Tszyu of the middleweights.

It will answer a lot of questions either way.

A very tasty bout. One I've been looking forward too since it was announced. Depending on the odds I may have a little flutter on Proska for the upset.

Proska is about 3s for the win. But i think 11/10 for Golovkin stoppage is the bet. Also i think Dan Geale has a real good chance at beating Sturm and he's around 11/8.

Proska 3/1 ftw and 9/1 for the stoppage.
Golovkin 1/3 ftw and 11/10 for the stoppage.

Although in all honesty I can't really see Golovkin losing, I think there is massive value in Proska @ 9s for the stoppage. He's a physical fighter who can dig a bit. Throw cuts and clumsy use of the head into these equation and it could just be anyone's. I'd rather chance a eleven quid on Proska than 90 on Govolkin to win my ton.

The value is defo with Proska. I just can see it though. Anyone beaten by Kerry Hope (no disrespect to Hope) beating Golovkin regardless of how their first fight went with the cut etc.

I think Glovkin will knock Proska out, maybe late on though.

That's pretty much how I think it will go, Rounds 9-12.

I'll still be having an extra special fun value bet on Proska by stoppage though @ 9s :) I'll be kicking myself now if it happens and I didn't bet!!!!

:TU: Tbh I very rarely bet on fights, especially if it's on a fighter who I really want to win as if they lose I'm doubly gutted but you're right a back up bet on the other is the way

350-5 amatuer record.

Outboxed Andre Dirrell, outboxed Koborov and knocked out Bute during the amateurs.

Golovkin is no joke.

No doubt. Outstanding amateur. Gold in the Worlds and Silver in the Olympics.

I heard one of the Vegas casinos was doing 9s on Geale to beat Sturm. Shows how far removed from reality that place is.

Golovkin will stop Proska. The loss to Hope seriously showed Proska's limitations.

Big fan of Golovkin. I jumped all over the 11/10 on Golovkin inside schedule a few weeks back. He desperately needs a big fight though. At 30 he's not getting any younger. Love to see him in with either the winner of Sturm-Geale or Martinez after he's chewed up Chavez Jnr.

That's crazy. If that was over here that means Sturm would be around 1/20.
