Today, Richard Commey, the ghanian boxer who lives in England, has fought against Kris Hughes. He won because his rival has retired, and in my opinion, he's a very talented fighter. Usually, african boxers are hard punchers but they aren't technically good boxers. This fighter is different, and he's undefeated after 13 fights.
I think that he was a kickboxer before being boxer, but I'm not sure. Did he have any amateur experience? he can be the European champion in 2 years I think.

Hard to know what to make of him as he's only fought outside Ghana twice. Not sure why Hughes took this fight on the back of the Frampton loss.

Got to say I wasn't as impressed he was easily hit and he didn't take the shots too well. Kris didn't really have the power which I feel may be the difference when Comney fights someone his own size. Can't see him making the lightweight limit he is huge.. Good personality will give a good show wherever he fights but I think as soon as he steps up he will be stopped.. Be good to see him in with someone like Curtis Woodhouse or Stuart Green
