apparently Enzo vs Ovill and Frankie Gavin vs Witter for the British title on the Cleverly undercard.

Ovill V Enzo is an accident waiting to happen Enzo's punch resistance has gone, how could they put him in with a puncher like Ovill, Gavin V Witter could be interesting, depending how it pans out, will Witter land his power shots ? will he blow out ? can't see him out boxing Gavin or out lasting him, more likely Gavin will win on points or by late stoppage, body shots. For witter to win he will have to improve on his British title win and his recent fights. Cleverly needs a big test or he will go stale.

If Gavin stops Witter it will be impressive, even though Witter has very low punch output these days (still cannot believe how poor Lynes was in their fight), he finds a way to survive and never looks close to getting stopped (unless its an injury).

Body shots are the key here, they could wear witter down, Witter only fights in bursts nowadays and he seems to tire late on, though, now Hatton is back, Witter could look for a big pay day, but needs to hold on to the British title to get that fight, if the fight is scrappy it could suit Witter, both fighters style does not suit the other, so it will come down to the more rounded fighter, which is Gavin, I think if Gavin sets a fast pace and goes to the body and gets into his stride, he can make it more easy, but if Gavin waits to counter it will suit Witter. I think the first one is more likely.

Junior has lost the speed that made his punches effective. It'll be a really messy fight to watch but I think Gavin will win by a wide enough margin where nobody gains any new fans

But then I though Lynes would easily beat Witter after his Purdy win so what do I know.

And Enzo gets stopped early. Going to light heavy is not going to improve his chin, which is as bad as it gets already.

McKenzie will send himself back into the bigger fight after this as it's bound to be spectacular. How long was Enzo's ban though? Seems a bit daft that he is back so quickly after a failed test. 5/6 months is a standard period of time out for him

his ban was 6 months and ends just before the show not sure on the exact date but defo b4 the 27th oct
