Martin Gethin v Carl Johansson *SPOILER*
Can't give much detail as I was at another show but I was told Martin stopped Johansson in the 11th after possibly being behind on the score cards. Hopefully someone will be along soon to fill in the gaps.
Well done Martin, hopefully this will be a ticket to some big fights in a cracking domestic division.

Not a bad win for Gethin, puts him in the mix domestically. Quite a surprise that he may have been behind on the score cards I thought he would have dealt with the 34 year old Johanneson relatively easily. The Insider wrote:Can't give much detail as I was at another show but I was told Martin stopped Johansson in the 11th after possibly being behind on the score cards. Apart from Kirakosyan, who has dealt with Carl anything like easily?ShadrachSimmo wrote:Not a bad win for Gethin, puts him in the mix domestically. Well said, it's a pretty ludicrous thing to say, he's a handful for anyone at British level and though slightly shopworn, it's still a massive win for Martin so well done that lad!mickey1975 wrote:Apart from Kirakosyan, who has dealt with Carl anything like easily?ShadrachSimmo wrote:Not a bad win for Gethin, puts him in the mix domestically. I'm talking about the current version of Johanneson I felt Gethin would have beaten him comfortably.mickey1975 wrote:Apart from Kirakosyan, who has dealt with Carl anything like easily?ShadrachSimmo wrote:Not a bad win for Gethin, puts him in the mix domestically. I was there ringside when he dropped Gary Sykes and then gave him nightmares only last year and then he won from the wrong side of the bill against Chris Goodwin. I thought it was a 50-50 fight beforehand and it was a great win for Gethin.
