Liverpool welterweight Jimmy McGrail died 9th September 2012 due to complications following a stroke.
He was ABA Amateur Champion prior to turning Pro in the 60's and was No 2 in the paid ranks he never fought with the then champion Brian Curtis due to Curtis being injured in training. Jimmy was living in the USA and leaves behind a wife and 3 children RIP
