Agreed, problem with having a medal and coming from the UK where we don't have many top level boxers is that he doesn't have the advantage of some Americans where he can go and rebuild his career on the quiet. I would take two or three easier fights to get used to his new trainer before stepping up again, he can't lose another fight for a while now.

I'm a little surpsied considering Khan said Guzman wasn't good enough and they were in talks with a South American light welter with one of the interim titles. Maybe his team are really wrapping Khan in cotton wool. I guess if Khan loses again many members of his team will have to go back to driving taxi's!!

Khan will be working on defence with Hunter, so will he just move around for 12 rounds trying it out - or will he go steaming in ?

If it's the latter it serves no purpose does it. I suppose time will tell for the 'worlds best offensive fighter'.

The thing I can never understand is what comes out of Khan's mouth. In the ring, I admire him greatly. Very skilled, very ballsy. But out of the ring? He said Guzman was 'beneath him' and now he is facing a pumped up lightweight. Contradicts himself every time.

Bit harsh, Khan has fought Garcia, Peterson, Judah, Malignaggi, Maidana and Kotelnik...all a long, long way ahead of anyone Cleverly has shared a ring with.

Really an embarrassing opponent, given what comes out of Amir's mouth. A 5'6'' lightweight novice who hasn't stopped anyone eight fights in a row. This is a degrading fight, and a total waste of time. Khan going back to his old ways of fight small guys who can't hit.

You'd never give Khan a break - you seem to like having a pop at him. Is it because he has spoken badly of Froch in the past?
