Tear Up hangs 'em up for good

Post by dondada »

Of the many hundreds of bouts I've covered from ringside, Hunter v Pickering was the most intense atmosphere of the lot.

Good luck in retirement, Tear Up :TU:

As the man himself says, he's got nothing to prove. Can look back with pride on a great career and be content with his family. Good on him.

He also had the best unofficial nickname of the lot:

'The Scourge of Hartlepool Bouncers'

Go easy, Mick :TU:

Good luck Mick, I always enjoyed your no nonsense style in there.

See here for the Rocky Dean fight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBh7BzTCxZ4 The finish (around 3 mins on the video) is a peach.

Are you still fighting Sean? Sooooo much better than your record suggests (if the record included a column for how much notice you had or how many hours you grafted at work on the day, it would explain a lot).

Setanta. When it folded here, he continued with them in Ireland.
