TV Boxing Monopoly
Does anyone else think Mick Hennessy/Eddie Hearn are walking a tightrope by putting all their eggs in 1 basket with all their resources focusing on a handful of fighters each? What happens for instance if Fury gets beat from Price and Eubank Jr gets exposed at title level, that means the noveltys gone with both fighters, all he,ll have left is Degale/Galahad and he,s not really banging their drum as much as the other 2. will that mean Channel 5 will dump boxing as soon as the contracts up and no other terrestrial channel will show boxing again after getting their fingers burnt from the most deluded promoter in the game. Same with Eddie Hearn to a certain extent, by his own calculations, Brook,Bellew,Frampton and Barker will all have title shots next year, now history tells us their not all going to win, so with Sky only showing Matchroom fighters does that mean we are going to see even more Prizefighters
at least Fwank shows us many fighters as he can instead of getting all worked up with 2 boxers. Dangerous game that.
