I think I read somewhere in this forum that he suffered a detached retina? Or some sort of injury that took him out of the game. You can use the search feature, enter his name, focus on the BOTP forum and find a thread where it has been discussed.

I Googled him, found an article on doghouse which mentioned his bout with Gatti, but not the reason why he left the sport(actually got it wrong when they said he never fought again after that fight).

Also looked at his Wikipedia page, nothing there except his stats and.....the Gatti fight reference.

I tried, but couldn't really find anything of note.

Buzz, you are slipping. No mention of him being the son of King David? :D

What? It's not self evident enough that Boxrec is replacing Ring Magazine as "The Boxing Bible"?
