Important results from México 24-11-2012

Post by Federiqo »

Fernando "Kochulito" Montiel DU over Giovanni "Ruso" Caro, Montiel is not the same after Nonito, in my opinion no chances for big fights. The fight was very close, i think Caro did necessary for win.

Alejandro "Flakita" Sanabria(33-1-1,25 kos) DD over Nery "Pantera" Saguilan(24-2-1,14 kos). Very close i think Saguilan win this fight, but Sanabria have some protection for the Promotors.

Daniel "Tremendo" Estrada(29-2-1,22 kos) DT over Nihito Arakawa(23-1-1,15 kos). Controversial stopagge, but Estrada win clearly the first 7-8 rounds and also win the number one ranking in the Lightweights for WBC.

Carlos "Principe" Cuadras(26-0-0,22 kos) DU over Fernando Lumacad(27-4-3,12 kos). Good work in the body for Cuadras and claims his chance for the tittle.

Julio "Pollito" Ceja(21-0-0,19 kos) TKO over Luis Melendez(34-7-1,25 kos). Very young Ceja, but it was a nice boxer; speed and power.

Felipe "Gallito" Orucuta(25-1-0,21 kos) KO over Manuel de los Reyes Herrera(19-10-1,13 kos). Big important wins in this year for Orucuta, the chance for the tittle is near, love to see vs JC "Zurdito" Sanchez Jr.

Andres "Jaguarcito" Gutierrez(23-0-1,19 kos) KO Hugo Berrio(15-3-0,11 kos). Very agressive Gutierrez, connect some of power punches and the fights end.

Keep on eye in Gutierrez and Ceja, 19 years old in a couple of years could be a great champs, also, Orucuta and Cuadras near have the chance for the tittle.

Ceja's first test. Milendez is past it, but Ceja sounds promising.
Oh, Federiqo, Sanabria won an SD. You wrote DD; I think you meant decision dividida (split decision), but that would confuse non-Spanish speakers.
"DU" (decision unanime) is written as "UD" (unanimous decision) by English speakers here.
Same for technical decisions; we write TD.
Good report.
