The boxrec record for Fosi "Brown Hawk" Schmidt lists his record as 5-2 (5 KO). Schmidt appeared on the cover of Australian Ring Digest in October 1954. The 1955 Ring Record Book credited Schmidt with scoring 50 consecutive knockouts. It lists the following fights without dates or locations;

Also, Schmidt died on December 19, 2005 at 60 years old.
