Can someone explain the medical process to me

If it's a long standing problem should it not have been picked up earlier? Ie is it daft to have a medical so close to the fight? Wouldn't it make sense to have an extra one before the fight is announced or would that be a logistical nightmare?

Just in this way wastes a lot of everyone's time

Murray should of never of left Hennessy sports, he was carefully matched and was winning belts and looking good, went down hill after that.

Is it possible with so many hard fights on the clock he has maybe had a querie with a brain scan.

I know a few fighters who have had queries and the board hold their lisence until further investigation have been carried out.

Then they review with a team of specialist who will make a recommendation wether or not they are happy for the said person to continue to box.

This might be why they are putting the news out as a delayed fight.

It could be one of a number of things that have been noticed in the medical; I hope John is ok and a more thorough check finds he's healthy and in good health. Though he has had some tough fights and has a style that doesn't run away from aggro I'm sure that the majority of damage done come's through sparring 1000's of rounds over the years and not the rounds fought - I'm sure that's behind the 'body sparring' policy held at the Ingles gym.

I know we all have this mercenary attitude because we wont see a scrap. I felt the same way.

But at the end of the day, if this is a persistent / permanent problem - then his career could be finished.

I hope whatever it is, that they sort it.

100% right, its more the sparring than the fights but he has had some hard fights
