I just noticed today that there have been 118 generally-recognized champions in the bantamweight division, as listed by BoxRec. A nice number, huh?
That means, doesn't it?, that only 118 guys throughout the history of gloved boxing can legitimately claim the title of Bantamweight Champion of the World.
I wonder what the numbers are for the other weight divisions.
