The Paddy and the Prince

Post by rhino222 »

Im sure most of you have read the book, its an excellent read, but ive only just found this documentary which gives Naz chance to reply to the book........

Certainly worth a watch, as for the truths in both sides of the story, ill let you judge for yourselves.

I've got that book; it's from the late 80's and is in a chest in my dads cellar; must be worth a few quid now.

(edit; just looked on amazon - it's worth the same now as it was then :( )

I was gonna say mate. It's a book from the 80s. Hardly the original copy of the bible.

Prince Naseem Hamed was my idol. I'm not british but I'll try to buy on internet the book. Are any other books written about Naseem Hamed? Biographies...?

Having watched the interview with a very seedy looking Adam Smith, Hamed contradicts himself constantly. He is just a young kid in that interview.

He was a very talented boxer, but never the brightest button on the shirt.
As for Adam Smith, I feared for Hamed's baby when he offered to hold him.

He didn't come across fantastically did he. Almost encouraging Hamed to drop Ingle and almost complaining to Ingle about the 10% he was taking from Hamed.

We all know you and Spud were blatantly in a copy of readers wives back in the day. You blacked out your eyes, special forces style, but we know it was you.

Decent card of boxing on and you're bumping a thread about a 10 year old documentary.

What a knob.
