Loaded TV - Sky platform
Loaded TV - Sky platform
I've been telling people this is Channel 200. However, I have Sky and on my listings that channel is 'Controversial TV'.
Anyone else have this?

Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
I'm fairly sure that Controversial TV closes at x O'Clock and Loaded TV commences thereupon. Like when other channels close at midnight and infomercials for abdominal manipulation contraptions run through the night to passively sedate insomniacs.
Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
I set up the sky+ for the fight yesterday if you go to 9-30 it has the programme called Loaded fight night live or something similar. But you are correct channel 200 is on the sky list as controversial tv.
Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
Aye, I've been told it changes to Loaded at night time.JLP wrote:I'm fairly sure that Controversial TV closes at x O'Clock and Loaded TV commences thereupon. Thanks all
Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
Annoying that this is not available on Virgin. I already pay for all the Sky Sports channels, ESPN and FW channel and still I'll miss some good fights!

My thoughts exactly.SteveDow wrote:Annoying that this is not available on Virgin. I already pay for all the Sky Sports channels, ESPN and FW channel and still I'll miss some good fights!
Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
Anyone know who the presenters and commentators are?
Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
Yeah - it seems to be on the EPG "Fight Night Live or something" - 9.30 -10.30 on Channel 200

Thats a virgin issue isnt it? Nothing to do with promoter / sky / anyone else. Cant you contact them to see if they'll add it to their platform, doubt it'd cost anything to them.
Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
It is a Virgin issue yes but it's also another example of boxing being marginalised as a sport. As for Virgin adding it, I doubt they'd do that just because I make a phone call.Wales wrote:SteveDow wrote:Annoying that this is not available on Virgin. Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
Nope, itd be a waste of your 50p. But what should VIP do? Refuse the xthousand pound because its not on virgin? Its loaded tv (or whatever) or no tv
Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
Jamie used to take "lead" commentating when VIP shows were on the smaller channel a few years back. Quality analysis and top guy, but in my opinion less is more and hes better suited to a studio role. For me sky boxing should follow football and get rid of "the old guard" (your keyes and gray character) and bring in a gary neville (moore) who understands the "modern game".

Very biased towards Rose and her nearly called Maloney W*rren. The Dark Destroyer wrote:How was Jamie Moore as a commentator?
On an unrelated matter, what is it with Maloney and those giant scarves he wears?
Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
They're not giant scarves, they just look like giant scarves. A bit like how your twanger looks bigger when it's a Thai whore thrashing you off rather than a Tongan.
Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
I know that but the point I was trying to make was that it is another example of boxing being marginalised and inaccessible to some people.Wales wrote:Nope, itd be a waste of your 50p. But what should VIP do? Refuse the xthousand pound because its not on virgin? Its loaded tv (or whatever) or no tv
Re: Loaded TV - Sky platform
If anything this is making it more accessible as up until the deal it wasnt on any channel. Harsh reality is no channels want to buy into boxing. I understand frustrations with people not being able to receive the channel, but i guess if you go for virgin cos its cheaper you get the cheaper package (im assuming virgin is cheaper? Cant get it in sticks)SteveDow wrote:I know that but the point I was trying to make was that it is another example of boxing being marginalised and inaccessible to some people.Wales wrote:Nope, itd be a waste of your 50p.
