The only time I ever saw him fight was against Hearns, but he was a mainstay in all of the magazines when I was a kid.

Edit: I actually saw the Ishimitsu fight too. I'd love to see the fight with Monroe Brooks.

Don King had hoped to match Saensak with Esteban De Jesus in September 1978, and in Puerto Rico.

Mr. King had put up $150,000 to get Saensak in Puerto Rico to put his WBC Light-Welterweight Championship
on the line.

But Saensak had suffered an eye injury (detached retina in the right eye), and the bout was put on hold,
as Saensak's promoter (Lope Sarreal of The Philippines) tried to reschedule it.

That would've been a tough fight so soon after the Duran beating.
