Groves v Johnson

Post by MightyWarrior »

Jesus, George will break his hands on GJ's chin at this rate...he better be careful too, he doesn't want to get clipped by Glenn's right hand either.

Booth could do worse than remind groves about what happened in Haye vs Thompson.

Glenn's corner talking some sense there. They obviously think he can hurt Groves.

Groves always looks a bit vunerable when clipped - great to watch, but it's a knife edge sometimes...

This should be a easy fight Johnson is throwing 2 punches a round. Not impressed with groves at the moment

Groves' defensive strategy of lowering his head to waist height with the hands waving around his sides is a little risky. There's a risk he could blow out here if he doesn't pace it better.

Johnson is going to win.

Groves is trying to go toe to toe with Johnson, terrible tactics. He just isn't good enough to avoid Glen's shots the whole fight.

He seemed to have a bit more of a go that round but credit to Groves as he boxed well in the 5th controlling the distance

They build the fight up and then moan like fornicate when Glen doesn't work hard. Have they not see his last few fights. Glen's only hope is to do exactly what he is doing i.e. stalk, stalk, stalk and hope a hole appears.

Groves is getting this all wrong, he's bolloxed. If he keeps throwing loads of shots then the ref will jump in and stop Johnson so that's what he's banking on.
