Who watched this fight. Does Smith look good or was O'meara bad?

Decent enough fight, but not really title standard in my opinion.

The fight had some decent action but neither fighter looked spectacular. Now he has a title there should be some decent fights ahead for Smith hopefully.

I think we all know F**** W***** will not let him fight anyone hard unless it's someone from his own camp. I think Selkirk will get a shot at Smith

Watched it thought beefy deserved to win (as did O'Meara) it wasnt a very exciting fight. Would he beat the above? Not sure. Would I want to watch it? Unlikely.

He fought a good fight tonight. Kept it tight & compact & seemed to pace himself perfectly. He was throwing some nasty chopping right hands. Omeira is a tough gutsy lad & it was the best fight of the night

Well lets hope Smith doesn't get journeyman from now on like most of the other guys in his camp do when they get titles

I watched the bout and it was a good scrap. Both are very capable boxers and both had their moments. In the post fight interviews both men came across very well; O'Meara in particularly was very classy - he was a credit to himself how sporting he was though he must have been gutted.
