Easy nights work for Donaire wasn't it really. Arcs too small and battleworn.. The second knockdown behind Arce's ear really took away his legs and the finishing left hook nailed him.

Some good match ups in & around the Bantams/Super Bantam Santa Cruz would be a good opponent too.

Yeah, Arce too small - shame for such a warrior to go out like that, but not a surprise.

Arce for me is a first ballot hall of famer given his run of late. 5 weight world champion.

Who was the ref ? He seemed a fairly clueless type and not to be trusted: he doesn't really look at Arce during the count, continually glancing at Donaire, like a programmed robot, not paying attention to the fact the Mexican could barely stand up.
Then when Arce totters towards him, on the balls of his feet, he waves the brutal punching Donaire back in to finish him off - and stands well back from them, instead of staying close - which is where he should be, as Arce was near defenceless.

As Arce crashed down a 2nd time, the idiot then seemed about to take up a count again, before Arce spat out his gum shield.
