Talking of losing streaks what's going on with Sid Razak? He had his license pulled due a long losing streak and his increasing weight, weeks later they reinstate his license and he's straight back in with an unbeaten LIGHTWELTER. Surely he should have been given his license back on the understanding that he dropped down a level and fought somewhere near his true weight.

I thought Dean Bramhald would have a chance here but I was pleasantly surprised at his record. True he lost over a hundred fights but he won 40 odd and I think the most he lost in a row was 9.

There was a guy in Aberdeen Callum Rattray who had nine fights and lost the lot.

Yes that his big moment With hindsight that would have been the place to stop give or take a few fights. Instead a horrible end beckons for him at an early age.(been working in a dementia unit the past couple of weeks , forget certain portions or everything you've learnt and experienced in life and shit yourself and you've got a good idea how it ends)

well it's actually 0-48-2 but like Bill Bessey said earlier how far do the board let him go? surely not to 80 without a win, or could you imagine 100.

To be fair to Bheki, he has good movement and dodges a lot of punches. He's a lot more mobile and elusive than the vast majority of journeymen. He also throws a lot of punches and rarely takes a bad beating.

Bheki has deserved a couple of wins/draws based on the handful of fights I've seen. Based on his record he looks pretty useless but he's far from useless. I regularly go to small hall shows and there are much worse journeymen out there. He rarely gets badly beaten or bruised up. I think he's just missing the will to win.

Then do you not think the board should make him have the will to win by threatening to revoke his licence or just let him carry on getting by because he doesn't get bashed up?

The board's main duty of care is for a boxer's health and safety. As I stated before, I have not seen him get badly hurt or take a barrage of punches. At the same time I have not seen all his fights. If his BBBofC area council feel that his license needs to be suspended then that is their prerogative and I can not comment on that given that I work for the board. I hope he gets that elusive win one day!

Bheki could stand a 1/4 of the opponents he faces on their heads but he chooses/gets paid not to. But he gets paid and the board gets paid so who cares whether he tries to win or not who cares about the paying public paying top dollar to watch competitive professional boxing just as long as he's not getting stopped eh?

That's pure speculation and rather defamatory to be honest. Unless you have any evidence to prove that then please stop right there. We've heard this speculation before. If there is any evidence of fights being fixed then please let the board know and action will be taken.

Like I said before, Bheki should have had a couple of wins by now given that he's been at the end of some controversial decisions but that's purely my opinion. He's a durable journeyman and he gives new prospects a decent test. The board has limited him to fights with a duration of 12 minutes (e.g. 4x3 or 6x2). It would be great if he gets a win one day but the most important thing is that he does not get badly hurt.
