That's the same night I'm fighting at the Caird Hall in Dundee for the Super Featherweight Scottish Title ;) I don't know what's the story but is Kris Badger Hughes an option ;)

Kris Hughes is off the card, with Mark Bett v Billy Campbell taking its place. This is the pro debut of Billy Campbell .

One sided fight Billy will win that one ;)

Kris Hughes is better chucking the fight game...

Why would you say no then? If he's saying a fighter should chuck it surely you should prove him wrong by putting Kris Hughes in with him?? Do you feel Kris is out his depth against Ronnie?

Alba this isnt a critisism but if you stuggle to get 500 in Rival gym how do you expect to fill a bigger arena with the same boxes on the show?
Plus Rival gym was free and the Ravenscraig charge a fee for the hire of the by the hour, cant work out how it could work.
Good luck all the same

In fairness he did just post something that you did say previously . Plus mate your bit about real fights etc .come on mate, your last fight was a fight against a 1-7 journey man, not that there is anything wrong with that, but if your going to slag other promotors for using journeyman ,and the other fights on the Dundee proberly will feature journeymen against novices .

Your entitled to your opinion mate, but lets not let facts get in the way.

I hope you get your title fight come march ,and I'm sure both shows will do well.

I think the point in Ronnie doesn't want to be fighting journeymen and prospects will no fight him.. What's he meant to do.. Ronnie has went down and fought 2 of the country's hottest prospects in their own backyards and came away with Draws. He stopped the undefeated Tommy Edwards. Out of 8 fights he has fought 3 undefeated fighters that's not too bad for someone starting out and none of the prospect fighters have done that? Or have they? Ronnie should be 8-0 in my opinion and in at least the top ten Superfeathers in the uk... As for Kris Hughes I am sick saying this fight won't happen.. I don't believe that's through Kris put through his management team and in honesty I don't blame them but don't hide behind something Ronnie has said.. Anyway I'm sure both shows will do well.. Dundee is a sleeping giant in the boxing world lets hope we can get the city back up to being a respected boxing city

Ronnie stays in Dundee but travels to Paisley to train with Lex... That started in kickboxing when Ronnie wanted to move to the next level so he decided to be the best he would need to train with the best..

If Badgers management dont want Kris and Ronnie to fight dont use a petty excuse in what Ronnie says. I think Paul has to grow up a bit and stop putting silly little comments on that make him out to have a mental capacity of 14 and come across in the attitude of its my ball so your not playing with it. Ronnie has a bit of banter and has major confidence in himself but this is the fight game and if you dont believe you can win every fight your in is there any point?? Dundee and Glasgow area are nowhere near each other so therefor they will not be stealing each others clientel anyways and Prospect have there own batch of fighters and dont often go above a budget so fights like mcewen etc wont be on there show and will more than likely fight at the caird hall in Dundee. Good luck with your show and everyone has a different opinion on what is classed as a successful show and there own set of goals. As for calibre of opponent Ronnie has fought 3 undefeated fighters in 8 fights. He had a 10 fight amateur career and is still learning the game , i may be biased but all he seems to be asking for is to fight the top level domestic ( Scottish) fighters to help him progress:)

you have taken a bit of time on this Jamie... thing is you accuse paul of being petty for basically reffering to one of ronnies previous comments ,but you put ronnies comments and sly digs down to banter ?

our card is in Motherwell mate, north lanarkshire ,as for your point about stealing others clientèle - the only person who mentioned that was Ronnie ,its not a concern to me as the distance between both is quite big .

your point about Craig McEwan is a bit wide of the mark for the simple reason we have had loads of fighters for other promotors fight on our card (jason hastie/Big Levan/and james tennyson ) but we have our own stable of fighters

Now this back and forwards that seems to between Ronnie and his merry men and ourselfs really dosent go anywere does it,it was the same in the last thread ? so lets just agree to disagree ....

To be fair all Ronnie done was asked if there was a chance to fight a fighter ranked above him... Paul said NO why everyone might have different opinions but deep down we all know the truth... If Kris Hughes can't sell enough tickets it would have got him a fight for a title nothing wrong with Ronnie asking... We are not going over the same stuff as Alba the guys you mentioned above are no where near Craig McEwens level and in my opinion will not get there..

Alba here's an invite to the big show up here in Dundee I will even pay for your ticket watch some real prospects haha :)

iain Butcher ,Rhys Pagan and Sean Watson from Prospect and from Gilmours camp we have Gary McCallum,Jordan McCorry and Darran McAdam mate.

Looking forward to seeing McCallum fighting ,he is 8-0 but be good to see him stepping up and seeing what hes got, a middleweight so plenty of good scraps out there for him in due course i would imagine mate.

more names to be added after the NY aswell

well he must have left and signed with gilmour, looking at first few fights he looks like he was with morrison (meaning the venues he fought at) but he fought on the saltire promotions last show so he might have moved to tommy
