As impressive as Marquez's destruction of Pacquaio was, Nonito Donaire is my pick for fighter of the year. He fought and bet four quality operators in the super bantamweight division. Good list though, Ian.

I think Marquez and Donaire are difficult to split.

Marquez only beat one top opponent, but of Donaire's opposition I'd only really say Nishioka was genuinely top class. Arce had long since past his best and was above his best weight... and Vazquez jr was only just off a KO loss to Arce.
