Who is least deserving of a British title shot?

Post by Camcas »

Jason Welborn vs Frankie Gavin or David Dolan vs John Lewis Dickinson. Two terrible fights for the prestigious belt and both are clearly not deserving of the fight for the title but which is worst? Welborn hasn't beaten anyone of any note at all and is simply nowhere near Gavin's league, this fight wont even be close and I think Gavin would be able to stop the fight anytime he wants in all honesty. Dolan hasn't done anything for years and I'm not really sure why he has got the shot in all honesty, he hasn't beaten anyone with a winning record since 2008!!!"

Agree I'm not knocking Welborn for taking the fight at all and respect to him for it, but I just think it devalues British title a bit

Dolan might not be as deserving as others but the fact is he was duped out the title in his second fight for it which he clearly won ( first was also controversial) & gave Dickinson a good fight last time out so IMO he deserves another crack at the title & who else is there realistically ??

Maybe Rob Norton deserves another as he was duped against leon williams. I have not got a problem with dolan boxing for it he is solid boxer and will give it a go. After all it is a voluntary so dickinson as the right to set up a big northeast fight.
P.S. I dont really want to see norton again just making a point.

Maybe he should get another shot down the line, lets be fair cruiserweight is a poor & weak division there's only ola afolabi that would go anywhere the rest are average domestic fighters at best
