Mitrevski/Ioelu
Mitrevski/Ioelu
On Friday 15 March 33 year old Peter Mitrevski Jnr, who has won regional titles and has a 23-8-1 record, is listed to fight a six rounder against Moses Ioelu, a 38 year old with a 3-31 record. Is somebody going to try to convince me that this is not a terrible mismatch? ![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)
Re: Mitrevski/Ioelu
Which way Brute? Peter hasn't fought for nigh on two and a half years and at that lost his last two, Peter's also pushing 33 himself, his opponent, five years his senior, has fought a month ago. looks like the fight is going to be at Moses' weight as well, LHW, not middleweight, granted he has a terrible record, but all things considered, who did you want him to fight? I'm just glad he's back in the mix.

Re: Mitrevski/Ioelu
There should be rules or at least mechanisms in place to stop guys like Moses Ioelu continuing to damage themselves. How many losses and concussions is enough? Ioelu has been KOed 14 times and won 1 of his past 30 fightsBrute wrote:On Friday 15 March 33 year old Peter Mitrevski Jnr, who has won regional titles and has a 23-8-1 record, is listed to fight a six rounder against Moses Ioelu, a 38 year old with a 3-31 record. Re: Mitrevski/Ioelu
Back in February 21, 2011 Peter Mitrevski Jnr was shot twice in each leg outside South Sydney Auto Centre in Marrickville in Sydney's inner west. The then 31-year-old was reluctant to speak with detectives, but police believe the shooting is linked to a violent altercation between two men on Carlisle Street in nearby Leichhardt at about 4.30pm that day.
We can probably cut Peter a bit of slack on this one occasion, to see if he has retained his ring craft after his lead poisoning, despite the mediocre record of Ioelu.

I agree, and good on him for his ethics.

Are you saying let's be nice to him for following some underworld code of ethics?Beltane wrote:Back in February 21, 2011 Peter Mitrevski Jnr was shot twice in each leg outside South Sydney Auto Centre in Marrickville in Sydney's inner west.
